If you do not have a job, this does not necessarily mean that you can not purchase a home. A home purchase with no job can still be done under the right circumstances. Some things you will need to think about though when purchasing a home without a job are, how will you make your mortgage payments, do you have money to put down, is there anyone else that you can add to the mortgage loan to help out for better qualifying terms, do you have verifiable assets, how much of a payment can you afford, do you receive any sources of verifiable income? These are all questions that should be thought about before making the jump into purchasing a home with no job.
If you have a down payment for a home and no job you can still buy a home using a No Doc Mortgage loan. Underwriters will not verify income or employment with a no doc loan but you will need strong credit scores and a minimum of 10% down payment.
